acerca de mi

When the Yankees are winnin' and the Red Sox are losin'. Takin' pictures outside when there's the sun and a breezin'. Listenin' to KGSR and the lovely sound that it brings, these are a few of my favorite things. 

The post we've all been waiting for... ¡acerca de mi! 

(For those who don't know Spanish, it means about me. It just sounds better than the title about me.)

My name is Andrea Kruczkowski and I have been going by Andie for as long as I could remember. {and apparently the story goes on as I didn't know my name was Andrea until I was 4 or so}

I am a senior in high school and want to major in Sports Journalism and want to either become a reporter on the Yankee Entertainment and Sports (YES) Network or become a sports photographer for Sports Illustrated in my future.

I live in Austin, Texas and as much as I love it here, (who doesn't?) I do not plan on staying here my entire life as many people my age are settling on. 

Now, reason 6201 why Andie does not fit into Texas is because she loves baseball. It's true, and if you don't believe it's true, then I don't know what to tell ya. Most girls (or anyone really) obsess over football in this state. High school, college, the NFL, not just one, not a combination of two spins, but they are not kidding about Texas being a football state. And while most people here would be like "Nah, it's okay if you're a baseball fan. As long as you're a Rangers fan." ...Yikes... Strike three, I am out of this ball game. I am a hardcore New York Yankees fan. Now, while most people don't tend to believe me there, I try to prove it to them. But since you can't really ask me questions and I can't really prove it to you unless it's in person... Here's my proof.

{food}: avocados, Torchy's Tacos, noodles, fruits and vegetables, steak, shrimp, sweet potato fries, chips and guacamole (queso and salsa apply as well), sushi, fish or shrimp tacos are my ultimate favorite food 

{tv shows}: How I Met Your Mother, Smallville, Pretty Little Liars, Boy Meets World, Saved by the Bell, The Price is Right, (when I have GSN on TV) The Chase, Family Feud, etc., Sports Center, Good Luck Charlie (yes, yes.), baseball every day April-October

{clothing): I love dresses, but sometimes dressing up is a royal pain, so 99.76% I wear big shirts with norts (nike shorts) or with leggings. (Yes, I'm one of those people)

{favorite book in the Bible}: Matthew :)

{favorite Bible verse}: Pray God's agenda, not your's. Matthew 6:9-13

{favorite places traveled}: Barcelona, Spain | Tampa, Florida | Hiltonhead Island, South Carolina | Yankee Stadium, The Bronx, New York ;) |

Fun facts :)

*It is 12:30 AM on a school night and I am typing this now because there is a Late Start (more about Late Starts on the 30th :) ) tomorrow morning. 

*I don't own a laptop. I have my iPad, Paddy, and the bluetooth case thing... Makes it more like a laptop, but I almost thought my mouse was broken. (HA, I don't have a mouse. That's the funny part...)

*Soccer, volleyball, and ultimate are my favorite sports to play. :)
