Well, yesterday, was another adventourous day for me. My mom and I went to the gym, went to lunch at my fave grocery store Whole Foods, then went on a little hike at the local Dick Nichols Park, went to youth group, and finally ended the night at Jim's. Today, was less busy, just how I like it, but I am still upset about how fast the day has gone. However, I am still content about my weekend. I did a lot of hiking, homework, and hiatus-ing from school. :)
So, first we start off with going to the gym yesterday. Now, I hate when people put on Instagram or tweet anything with #gymflow, but yesterday, after riding the stationary bike for 40 minutes, I took a picture of my accomplishment. Now, I didn't put it Twitter or Instagram, but I did take a picture for this blog purpose.
It's not great, I know, but it's good for me. I got to level 50 (Bronx Bomber category finally!) of the Yankee category in Quiz Up, I finished a book that was on my phone for quite sometime, and I watched maybe 5 minutes of the episode of One Tree Hill I was on before I found it quite annoying. Usually, I watch ESPN at the gym or something like that, but the TV was too far. :( So, maybe that's why I got so much accomplished. :) Next time on Riding the Stationary Bike at the Gym with Andie, doing a mani-pedi. ;)
Next, was lunch at Whole Foods with my momma. YUM! For those who don't know, I am obsessed with Whole Foods, and I feel like I eat there more than the average bear. And for those who don't know what Whole Foods is {gasp! jk} it is a grocery store started here in Austin that has everything organic, vegan, you name it. But for lunch, I usually hit up the salad or hot bar. Their macaroni and cheese is my favorite, and every day they have a different country to base their foods of, so their mac&cheese often changes. Yesterday, it was Greek mac&cheese, so it had veggies in it, and it was muy delicioso. (How do you say that in Greek?) So YAY food!
{yikes the photographer takes blurry pics sometimes} P.S. my mom and I share food, so...
After, we went hiking around Dick Nichols park. It felt so good outside, and I was really happy that we were doing this. (Especially because it was a beautiful day) We followed the trail, and came up behind some houses. (Sorry citizens if we were ruining your earthy state of mind) My mom and I have no sense of direction, so needless to say, we got lost in a forrest, but luckily, we found our way out. :) Dick Nichols rocks because it has outdoor gym equiptment. (Throwback) And since I make a fool out of myself...
"Why is she wearing red on red?" I know that's what you're thinking. #AndiesMonogrammedPulloverProbs
After our little hike, I went home for a little bit before going to youth group. This month we are talking about Daniel in Babylon. [oh them lions they can eat my body, but they can't swallow my soul]
I will try to do a verse a week on this blog, because Christianity is a huge thing for me, and I love spreading the gospel. But before we learn, we play stupid, fun games. Lets use Luke as an example here. :D We played this game, guys versus gals, similar to Roulette. Except it was maybe called Rougelette? {anyone from True reading this, confirm?} So, the girl picks a bag, and if their is a makeup item in the bag, the guy has to draw on her face with the item, and vice versa. Now, I didn't pick anything, and neither did Nick [who I was up against]. So here's a picture of a prime example of Luke. Then nine of us had Jim's and unfortunately, after a great night there, I didn't get any pictures. :(
This afternoon my mom and I tried to go to the gym. However, it's a long story to explain what happened why I couldn't go to Body Pump... My mom was frutrated, and then we went to Whole Earth (fab store I need to explain later) and then to Central Market, to believe it or not, eat sushi. Sorta like deja vu from yesterday. But then we went to our main gym, and then headed back home. My mom stopped and got the mail, and I was stoked to have gotten my letter from myself!
Let me explain this to you before you call me weird. At Pine Cove, before you head off back home, you write a letter to yourself. Basically, you explain anything. Whatcha learned at camp, what it was like at camp, ya know basic stuff. I am always excited to get these every year because I can apply to what I had learned at camp to school or anything. And this year, I was more excited than ever because a camp counselor told me about something valuable and I forgot what her exact words were. And guess what! It was in the letter. So not only I can share what I learned from Nehimiah, I can share what the counselor nicknamed "BroPah" shared with me. Cool. :)
P.S. I could not think of any way to title this post, so I used lyrics from a Hannah Montana song....... Heh heh heh...
