I'm not much of a blogger. Ask me to write an essay in class? I will do it. Ask me to write something for the school's newspaper? I will come up with something. Writing a blog however, has never really stuck with me. Maybe it is the fear that people will look at my writing and think it's bad or maybe it's because I usually ramble on about my day instead of finding a topic to write about. Whatever it is, I am hoping that this blog will for once stay. As a senior in high school, I want to make use of this time I have by doing things I love and writing about it, and since I aspire to major in Journalism, I am hoping this provides me confidence as well as practice. (Was that a run-on sentence? Eeek..)
I am hoping to make a full introduction on all my favorite things on my next post, but for now, I guess I'm going to say my name is Andie. :)
The title of my blog is here today, gone tomorrow because I think it is symbolic for college coming up in a few (short) months. One of my favorite bands, Lifehouse, actually has a song called Here Tomorrow, Gone Today, but I figured it would make more sense if it were to be called here today, gone tomorrow. :)
What else do I do besides assuming I am rambling on about my life? I am a photographer. I am one of those people who will bring their camera anywhere that tickles my fancy or literally ask you to take a selfie with me. Let's be real, I love keeping memories and I believe owning a camera has made my memories come back alive.
