salmon burgers {it's what's for lunch!}

an excessive amount of people i know do not eat fish. whether it's because fish is an animal, fish can cause food poisoning {s/o to nunez; feel better soon!!}, or just the rather obvious: fish tastes fishy...

personally, i love fish. fish tacos are one of my favorite meals, fish and chips is my go-to-meal at one of my favorite restaurants, and let's be real, i love looking at fish in aquariums. :)

i was gazing upon pinterest one day to look at meals i could have with my fam. pastas, salads, and some of the same old things i've tried flooded the page until i landed on something i liked. salmon burgers they were called and as my mouth watered, i just knew i had to try it.

when the fam and i have fish tacos we throw in some coleslaw, avocado, mango pico de gallo, and whatever we can find that adds some sweet flavor to it. so naturally, i knew i would want all those colorful flavors on the salmon burger.

they're actually quite simple to make and i highly reccomend it to anyone. {yes, even for all those fish haters} what you need is:
alaskan salmon burgers {available at costco and perhaps other super markets}
mango pico de gallo {people of texas, heb has some yummy mango pico de gallo!} or mango
avocado
coleslaw
and obvi, hamburger buns
ingredients you might also want to try:
strawberries
pineapple
tartar sauce

the salmon burgers took about ten minutes to make in the oven, so prep up the others during that time. :)

if you love fish and chips like me, you know that fish goes well with some fries. however, since this is such a super sweet meal, i usually bake some sweet potato fries to go on the side. :)

aside from this scrumptious meal, it adds some beautiful colors to your appetite. and the best part?! it's good for you! bon appétit :)
