super bowl Sunday (as told by a baseball fanatic)

what does the super bowl mean to you? are you in for the commericals? maybe all the food? the crazy half time performance? or maybe you just like watching football. for me and maybe some other baseball fans, the end of football season means the beginning of baseball season.

don't get me wrong, i like football more than i have in the past. i would be the one at the party not even paying attention to the tv and not liking the atmosphere around me. why are people so rowdy about a big game and not the world series? i would think.

since i actually enjoy football now, here's my super bowl xlviii dilemma. my favorite team, the new york giants, had an awful year. {which new york team didn't?} since eli is the brother of denver broncos qb, peyton manning. i feel obligated to cheer for them. however, when the giants were down in the dumps, i would watch the seahawks. why? you're probably wondering. well, the seattle seahawks's qb, russell wilson, was drafted by the texas rangers leaving him to be a baseball player, obvi. since it's the dude's second season in the big leagues, i think he is fab and a fantastic player.

so who does a baseball-watching-fanatic cheer for at a time like this? my baseball playin' friend gave me the (fabulous) idea of wearing my eli manning jersey and put broncos over it. so i am hoping one of the teams lose (and the blackout will not win this time. last year viewers, you know what i mean.)

update: so it's the start of the 4th and final quarter and the score is currently SEA 43 : DEN 8
did MetLife Stadium curse both the Manning brothers this season? well, whoever wins, {now predicting russell wilson and the seahawks} please take me to disney world.
