public humiliation part two

what's your most embarrassing moment? i still get asked repeatedly. previously, i have written about my family and how they always seem to embarrass me. {click here} i also mentioned in the post that i don't get embarrassed quite easily. well, nothing's changed about that, however, i did realize i have so many embarrassing moments.

so here we go...

sixth grade, my family and a couple of our family friends went to dinner. i had went to the restroom and came back to my seat. my mom was adding more chairs for more people and pulled it out from underneath me

the summer before seventh grade, i had an ipod touch and hardly anyone had one or even an iphone. my friend and i would walk around the mall and pretend it was an iphone. we also pretended to call johnny depp...

in seventh grade, i served-- very powerfully i wanna say-- in volleyball. {best server award 2009 woop woop} in a set, i served straight into a girl's face and broke her nose and chipped her two front teeth.

•near the end of seventh grade, i ran track. i was running the 100 meter and was trying to beat this speedy guy in my class. he was ahead by about six-seven inches the entire way. when he was close to the finish, i took off my shoe and threw it at him, completely tripping over my untied other shoe in the process. i won because i fell forward and he fell to the side.

• the first day of my freshman year, i was walking to my 7th period class which was also my advisory. since my school has the same colored walls for two halls and two other halls, i confused the two. i walked into a class loaded with seniors, sat at a desk, and when the teacher started saying “just because you're all seniors, doesn't mean you should slack off in here!” i turned bright red and explained to the teacher in front of the whole class i was a freshman. i got my things and left as seniors threw gold fish at me.

•the middle of freshman year, i wore a boot on my foot. i got out of class a minute early to head out to wear my mom was parked. i tripped over the stairs and seniors came sprinting down. i felt like mufasa needless to say.

•at vbs {vacation bible school} summer of 2011, i was waiting for my mom to pick me up from volunteering--because my brother didn't show up that day or somethin'-- and i had just gotten off the phone with her. she said she was at the gym which was right close by. five minutes later, i see my mom's car. i sprint over, open the door, buckle up my seat belt, and start telling my mom about the day. thing was, it wasn't my mom... it was a stranger...

•sophomore year, i went up for a hit at volleyball practice, tripped over my shoe which wasn't tied and rolled under the net.

•that same practice, we were serving and receiving, i dove for a ball and hit the floor pretty hard. usually, you help someone up in that situation. no one helped me up, and so my teammate continued to serve the ball and it landed on my booty. i had a butt bruise for a month.

•summer of 2012, i went to france and spain with the fabulous, mrs. shadwick. since i didn't know french i couldn't speak the majority of the trip. when we got to spain, i was very excited because i could finally speak. we needed more towels in my room, so my friends sent me down to the lobby to ask for some. i completely blanked out what towels was in spanish. {yes, i know it's toallas} i went to the manager and said “necesito más towellios por favor.” he looked at me, laughed and said, “you can speak english. i am from america.”

so i believe these are my top ten. i have so many others it's not even cool. lol as my friend grace and i put it, #andieprobs.

so maybe, just maybe, some day there will be a public humiliation part three. i'll be wearing a brown bag over my head if you need me. until then! -andie
