OFFICIAL

hiya peeps! it's been a week since i last posted and i sincerely apologize. last week was definitely a long one. even today was long. for those not in the austin area, this morning it started raining, by 10:45 it was hailing, and around 1:30 it was perfectly sunny. huh, just like last monday... except the opposite. 

now, you're probably wondering why i didn't post during the long week. believe me, i wrote drafts and deleted them, i thought of songs {which will becoming tomorrow hopefully!} and scratched some out. was it writer's block? not entirely, but it was indeed hard to start and find time to finish them. so let me take you back to friday. 

friday afternoon i left to go to tucson, arizona for a college visit. this was my first time going to tucson since my grandmother passed away in february of last year. 

now on saturday i went into uofa with an open mind. after viewing many incredible universities, i could not believe arizona would be my last. it was not like the other's that's for sure. 

as i lay in little raquel's bed saturday night, i thought about being in tucson long and hard. i have family there if i need it, it's a home away from home, but unfortunately fairly far from atx. 

sunday afternoon i went to a dback's game with my dad. i thought about if i were to go to the u of a, maybe i could intern with them. {you know, sports journalism stuff} cities in arizona seems close compared to wide, spread out, good o'l texas.  

brings me back to TODAY. as of tonight, i have made the decision to become an arizona wildcat. i am so stoked for my future ahead of me and blessed from the lord to guide me on this new chapter in my life. :) BEAR DOWN!
