and that is... drumroll please... diy grannyism magnets!
making grannyism magnets is super simple. all you need are stick on magnets and the cap of sweet leaf tea glass bottles. which are also known as a grannyism. :)
what is a grannyism?
like i mentioned, a grannyism is the cap off a glass sweet leaf tea bottle. the deal-io is that i hardly drink sweet tea, only this kind, and i pretty much have-to-get-it every time i go to whole foods. it's that quenching. even better, the tea company started in austin, so you austinites will be like, “haha! austin rules!” {or maybe that's just me?} less about the tea, more about the grannyisms. grannyisms are a little tidbit fact/chunk of wisdom/whateva you may call it on the cap of sweet leaf tea. some examples are loony like dance as though no one is watching and some examples are fortune cookie-ish like good things come to those who wait. about two years ago, i started to collect grannyisms as i drank the tea. some make me laugh, while some make me ponder, and that's what keeps me interested.
so back to the tutorial. things needed:
stick on magnets
grannyisms
mason jar {to collect grannyisms in}
step 1:
seperate sticky white back of stick on magnet from the magnet
step 2:
attach sticky side to back of magnet
step 3:
stick on white board
it is that simple!! :)
voila!! maybe i should put some in my dorm room next year. :)
go give it a try and have fun with it!!
xo
andie :)
