first day!

 hello, readers! I cannot believe the day has actually come... I am officially a student at the University of Arizona! for years, I have dreamed of coming here and residing in Tucson and now, I can finally say I am a Tucsonan {but I'll forever be an Austinite ;) }. my schedule isn't too packed and I thankfully do not have to sprint around campus getting from place to place. I do have to walk quite some distance, but luckily, I got a lot of time for that. I decided to look nice for my first day on campus because my suite mates, Karina and Adriana, reminded me that it's always nice to leave a great first impression. however, I did make the huge mistake of straightening my hair this morning... within ten minutes of walking to my first class of the day, I put it high up and a pony tail. 86º may be warm {especially with the dry heat}, but boy, it can be so hot, too!

 I have always loved the hype of the first week of school. There's always new people to meet, new school supplies, and just new things to learn. I am so excited to start college here at the UofA because it will allow me to learn all sorts of new things as well as people. I was so excited this morning that I woke up at a quarter after six to get things ready :) {and also because the sun rises super early here}.

 I have a lot more to look forward to in this "welcome week" and I cannot wait to blog about it!! I hope everyone has a great week and an awesome school year!
