A month in school...

So, by the look of the date on the calendar today, it is the 25th. YAHOO, THREE MONTHS TIL CHRISTMAS! Yes! However, the 25th has another significant meaning to me; I've officially been in college for a month. Strangely enough, it certainly hasn't felt that long at all. I've made a countless number of friends, have drunken Starbucks enough that I am tired of it {you read that right folks}, and have walked more miles in a single day than I ever had walking around at home. Yep, the college life is tiring, but it's great and I really like it. :)

However, there are somethings that I do miss from home. Not that it's going to keep me up all night, not that it's going to keep me from staying here at the UofA, but it is sorta-kinda-making me sad and homesick. So, here we go, the things I miss most about being away from home.

Stating the obvious first: mia famiglia.

Because obviously, who wouldn't miss their family when they are, hmm... NEARLY 900 MILES AWAY, PEOPLE! Naturally, I miss them a ton and need to definitely write a mass group letter to them soon {once CVS on campus decides to sell envelopes...}. I am hoping we can pull off another Thanksgiving like last year's {^^} now that I am officially coming back for the holidays. :)

Some of my fave foods:

Chuy's, Torchy's, Güerro's, see a pattern? TEX-MEX! Now, don't get me wrong, Tucson, you do have fabulous Mexican food, but it will never ever keep me from craving a Baja Shrimp on Corn with Avocado on the side {*cough cough* there's my order and that's a hint to all you readers in the ATX} from Torchy's!

Sorry {I'm not sorry} for missing it so much.

Two words for ya, TIME ZONES:

I cannot stress this enough, people. Tucson and Austin have different timezones. Come Daylight Savings in a few weeks, Arizona does not change! Keep that in mind and glued to your head. I am either two hours behind or one. However, sometimes I even forget there is a time change. So, if I text you at like, midnight here and it's 2am there and I wake you up, just think that you wake me up by sending a text at 5 your time, so it's 3 my time! {Jayke this was appointed to you, bud} So, yes, I do miss a normal time difference.

My Gym Routine:

Simple and easy. Usually, I go to Body Pump with my momma and then afterwards we go to HEB, Costco, and Whole Foods, or sometimes, all three. You can never get too many groceries. ;)

HUGGING AND SNUGGLING AND LAYING WITH MY LABRADOODLE POODLEOODLES:

Because after a long day, sometimes all we need is a hug {and an avoidance from Murphy because she is totally like that} to these fluffs.

People reading this, just because I am writing a blogpost missing about these certain things, does not mean I am having a terrible time... I am having a great time. :) Just thought I would make this clear... :D
