Bokeh Photography
I do this all December long and haven't gotten the chance to do it yet (gasp)! For those who don't know, Bokeh is a type of photography that is used out-of-focus and is particularly used for light. It is the perfect thing to do around Christmas time. With all of the colorful lights on the houses and on the Christmas trees, it is a delight to see all of the color come together. :) Here is an example:
Every year with my considered second families, the Jacobys and the Orlandos, decorate gingerbread men with us. It is such a blast. We come up with some wacky ideas: from old middle school teachers, to Miley Cyrus, to the big huge glob of icing my brother does, we always end up having so much fun. I look forward to doing it every year and I was counting down the days from my dorm room. :)
Church and Dinner on Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days all year long because of this tradition with my family. I love going to the candle lighting ceremony at my church every year and singing traditional Christmas songs. It gets me full of glee and in the Christmas spirit. After church, my family and I usually go out to eat. It is a good time to get all dressed up and get some yummy food after celebrating the birth of Jesus.
Like my birthday, on the night before Christmas, I like to go to bed before midnight so I can get a good night's rest and WAKE UP BECAUSE IT'S CHRISTMAS! :) Some of my favorite holiday movies include: The Santa Claus, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, Elf, and The Polar Express. Have a good holiday, friends and family! :)
