If you haven't already heard...

Instead of spending the past two and a half weeks stuffing my face with eegee's, reuniting with family members and friends after the month-long break, cheering on the #6 ranked Wildcats in the Zona Zoo, and learning and working hard towards my college degree, I have been at home.

After an unforgettable first semester of college, I decided {very spontaneously} not to return to the University of Arizona the Sunday before classes began. It was a very tough decision; the cons of being so far away from home had weighed me down. After being away from Tucson for a month, I just knew how much I had missed being in the good o'l ATX.

I'm not going to lie to you, being away was tough on me. I had to learn to really prioritize my time; balancing activities between Young Life, the big game, and schoolwork tended to overwhelm me, living in the biggest dorm on campus with no roommate had made me feel depressed and isolated, and of course, the "college way" compared to the "high school way" was something I had to get used to doing.

Financial issues had played another big issue while I was at the UofA {even with my scholarship}. In the mean time, while I get my financial issues in order, I will be attending ACC. I hope to transfer back to the UofA, attend the University of Texas or another school of my choice as soon as I can.

I love and will cherish every moment I was at the UofA. From being on megatrons and TV at games to eating breakfast burritos and sandwiches at 2am to "Cake Pop Friday" to having classes with athletes; I am able to call myself lucky for attending my #1 choice school even if it were just for one semester. You know what Troy Bolton says...
