happy easter!!

hello to all and happy easter to those who celebrate!! :) today, i am going to do something i normally wouldn't do, but i might try to do every now and then: an outfit of the day post. 

i mean, i usually don't dress up nicely unless i really feel like it. and since it's easter, i knew i just had to. 

i wanted to wear something new. not entirely “i haven't worn it before” new, but semi new. and what screams out easter to me is floral, lace, and pastels. well, the other day, i went to jc penney's and got this cute lace tank, so i decided to wear that with my “mullet” skirt. {is that what they're even called?} you know, long in the back, short in the front? i thought about wearing a turquoise-y green floral necklace i got from charming charlie's a while ago, but i didn't have a sweater to match that. 

one of my favorite colors for the spring is periwinkle and i just knew my mom had one in her closet. {she's a tad sweater obsessed} so i had the lace tank, the short-long skirt, and a periwinkle sweater.  now for accessories, i didn't do anything too spontaneous. i just wore my pearl earrings and wore my white, lace toms on my feet. 

my hair didn't take long to do {usually it takes forever...} because thankfully i blew dryed it yesterday. i did a small braid in the back and held it together with two bobby pins. 

who even knew i had a fashion sense?

ooh p.s. for those who are wonderin' about my lent adventure!!

after church, i went to {my fave} torchy's tacos with my daddio and didn't even think about having soda until we got there. i didn't get any, but it was a super weird feeling thinking i could get some. i logged back onto twitter this am and was really surprised how long it has been without me tweeting. 

like what all has happened with me gone? like it says in my tweet, i went to dc, two baseball games, got accepted and accepted to go to uofa, himym ended, some crazy storms happened, baseball started, some real sad passings {rip elana}, and many more. 

who knows if i will get rid of twitter or not, but only time will definitely tell!
