songs of the week {april 13-19}

heyyyyy all!! it's time for that time of week for songs of the week. :) i didn't get to buy the songs onto my phone {tryin' to save this new itunes card for coldplay's ghost stories} but i did hear some fabulous tunes on kgsr and pandora that i know you will LOVE. :) 

house of gold by: twenty| one |pilots 

i first heard this song at the end of 2013. and i actually really liked it. but instead of singing along to the chorus, this week i actually listened to the lyrics. it's one of those songs that tells a story in which i LOVE! 

human by: christina perri 

i've heard jar of hearts, i've heard a thousand years, and now i've finally heard what everyone is raving about: HUMAN! i love christina perri's voice; it is so strong and one of those singers you want to belt out with in your car. {at least for me} :) 

sleeping with a friend by: neon trees

despite the uhh... sexual? title, i really love this song! neon trees is one of my faves. they make me want to dance and throw a beach party-- for some odd reason? all their songs are so catchy and this one surely is! 

dark horse by: katy perry

usually, i'm not the one to listen to katy perry. i mean, i know the names of some of her hits, listened to them a couple of times, but never really “caught on”. i first listened to dark horse a few weeks ago and was shocked to find out she was singing. there's something about upbeat songs that i love and this makes me happy. :)
