Dear College Grad Self,

hello, readers! last week, I was thinking of new things to write about when I stumbled upon a handwritten blog post. I thought it would be a cool idea to interact in that kind of way. unfortunately, I couldn't find a great idea to write about. I thought of ideas that my handwriting could pop off on the page, but nothing really came into my mind. then, it hit me. I thought it would be an awesome idea to write a small letter to my college graduate self {sorta like I did freshman year} and that, is what I did.  :)

the only problem with this letter was deciding how to address it to myself. if you follow me on Twitter, you've perhaps seen my struggle on choosing whether I want to go by my real name Andrea or the name I've been going by 99.8% of my life, Andie.

and well, kids, I have yet to make a decision, so before moving day, I might just have to take a poll... {stay tuned}

onto the letter! it reads:
Dear Andrea (or Andie, whichever you aspire to be known as),
 In the weeks narrowing down towards college, I figured it would be a great idea to write a letter to your future self. {Think freshman year at Bowie except this is by choice and thankfully, not for a grade!} It sure is tough being 18 and you are expected at this time and age to know what you want to do for the rest of your life. As of now in 2014, I want to be a sports reporter, but maybe by the time you're reading this, you studied something completely different like... anthropology.
 My goals at the University of Arizona are simple:
  • Try your best at everything you do
  • Be involved around campus
  • Make new friends
  • Study abroad/travel
  • BEAR DOWN!
Here's to a great four years!

simple, sweet and straight to the point as my teacher would say. ;)

as for now, I'm figuring out how to do a handwritten signature I could add on this blog. :) tata for now!
