When I first started this blog, I didn't have a clue how it would later not only impact my life, but other's too. When I first started this blog, I hadn't thought about the reception it would later receive from thousands of people around the globe. When I first started this blog, I just spat out whatever seemed to be on my mind as if it were my own personal, online, thought journal. It wasn't until I was blessed enough to get my post, "Launching in 3..2..1..", published in my church's monthly newsletter, that I realized I had a knack for, well, blogging!
I had started eyeslikewallflowers at the start of my final semester of high school. At time I started this blog I didn't know that I was going to attend the UofA in the fall just to not return in the spring, didn't know I was going to get the chance to travel to some of the places that I had always dreamed of going to, didn't know I was going to fall in love with a goofball named Johnny, and certainly didn't know I was going to have half of my thyroid taken out. So much has happened in the past year {and three months} and I couldn't have been more grateful about it all which leaves me to this... I am super grateful to be starting my new blog!
"Out with the old, in with the new," eh? I have decided to start a new blog purposely for the times that are, indeed, a changin'. My blogging skills have vastly improved since the beginning. I now know how to aim and draw in a target audience, I now know to remain consistent and not teeter-totter between writing styles; I really wanted to become serious about blogging. With this new blog, I can restart without really having the feeling of starting over.
Thank you for all of the support here on eyeslikewallflowers, I am so overwhelmed by the amount of support and joy people have when it comes to my blog. So, let's give it a shot at andiemeetsworld.wordpress.com; I am very excited to see you there! :)
